John Edwards is going to feel pretty at Cobo Hall tomorrow!

Wow, the Michigan Democrats are having quite a shin-dig tomorrow at Cobo Hall in Detroit.  According to a press release they're getting a keynote address from Presidential candidate and debate dodger John Edwards.

But here's my question.  According to the release, MDP is only charging $150 per ticket.  Normally that'd seem like  a lot of cake but think about it... they're charging less than half the cost of a John Edwards haircut!  What a deal!

And because you really can't talk about the man these days without the song running through your head...

But don't worry.  There's more to the man than boyish good looks.  He's also a hard hard hard left pro-abort who said he "could not disagree more strongly" after this week's SCOTUS ruling on the federal ban of partial birth abortions.

So he might like to run away from televised debates and he might think infanticide is kicks and giggles and he might push all sorts of other crazy ideas too... but gosh darn if he doesn't look good while he's at it.

another man's appearance or hair as I have heard from conservative men talking about John Edwards. The obsession on the right with John Edwards appearance is mildly disturbing. I don't know what circles you travel in but if I started making comments about other men like "gosh darn if he doesn't look good while he's at it", I would get more than a few raised eyebrows.

talk about another man's appearance in your circles?  It would raise eyebrows?  Really?

I thought there was supposed to be some sort of negative stigma attached to men who weren't comfortable discussing the appearance of another man in most liberal circles.  But hey, sorry to make you uncomfortable.  Seriously.

I should also say this... I do sort of feel bad for the guy.  Edwards, I mean.  Every candidate who's ever done a TV appearance has gone through the whole hair and makeup thing.  That said, he goes on for two full minutes with his hair and I've never been with a candidate who needed more than fifteen seconds, but the principle is the same.  If you're going to appear on camera you owe it to yourself to get your appearance as proper as you can manage.

Still, in my "circles" it's not an eyebrow raiser to talk about another man's appearance.

thanks for bringing something new to the conversation with that second post that said the exact same thing as the first.

Edwards didn't shut down LAX when he got his haircut like Clinton did.

    We also rag on Mitt's hair - (2.00 / 1) (#12)
