A click for every missing brain cell: iPod story breaks the million link mark on Google!

The story Andy Dillon was hoping would go away just... won't... die.  Thanks to the miracles of technology and in part, no doubt, to the diligent work of 1,000 call center workers welcomed so famously to Michigan by Granholm for Governor staff members impersonating Google employees in campaign commercials last fall, the entire world can now click 1,020,000 different links by searching for Michigan+budget+iPods.

Last week a list started circulating with the top ten links on the subject... The Lunchbucket Conservative even posted it for the world to see.

In light of the big 1-0-0-0-0-0-0, and since it's always nice to give a shout-out to other bloggers  I thought a blog-centric update was in order.  Just click the title to read the corresponding article.  So without further ado, we'll call it...

iPod Andy's Top 10 iPod blogs

    1.  Michigan Democrats: Free iPods and tax increases

    2.  Invasion of the iPod People

    3.  Faux Pod

    4.  Let them have iPods

Faux Pod (what a great title) you'll see the press conference didn't seem to help them either.

I guess people don't see the difference between a plan and a vision when they're being discussed as one in the same from a podium by elected officials in a time of crisis during a presser called to address said crisis.

    It's not what you say... (5.00 / 1) (#5)

    It's what people hear.

NoviDemo can beat his head against the wall and reiterate that they never said it was a budget plan.  But that's what millions of people heard.

A great book by Frank Lutz - Words that Work.  This is his key point.

The Democrats would've been better off to not say anything, than to have said this.  It's the story that won't die... because people will hear the message.  And it fits with their image.

    No worries (5.00 / 1) (#8)
