Mike Simpson should look long and hard at Granholm's push to parole prisoners.
The Jackson Citizen Patriot is reporting that his restaurant, "Poppa's Place" in Brooklyn, was broken into and more than $1,000 in cash and valuables was taken. It seems the police may have caught the thieves (dogs led them to a nearby house where they arrested 2 men on outstanding warrants), but if Granholm has her way these chumps, if convicted, will be out on the street in no time.
Hey Mike, maybe you should rethink your non-vote on the tax increases. If you have to shell out over a grand to replace what was stolen, you'll have to dig deeper if the sales tax goes up. Even if your insurance covers the loss you'll be paying more for that, too -- there's a proposed 2% tax levy on insurance, remember?
