Hispanic Republican activist David Olivencia is now a member of the elite "Crain's Detroit 40 under 40" club.

At the GOP Mackinac conference this weekend I was able to meet this blog's editor and other exciting Republican activists like David Olivencia of Troy, MI.

David is the Chairman of the Michigan Republican National Hispanic Assembly. As of today he is also a member of the elite Crain's Detroit 40 under 40.

Mr. Olivencia has been an active supporter of Michigan GOP candidates in recent years.  He was a highly influencial fundraiser and activist for the Hispanic constituency of the Dick DeVos for Governor campaign where he served as Hispanic Coalition Chair.

Olivencia is also a director at Oracle where he provides technology strategy.

I got to know him a bit during the DeVos campaign and we've been in touch a bit since, too.

Fantastic guy and well deserving of the honor.  Congrats, Sir!

Could you post this on OaklandPolitics.com, kingango?

    Thanks.

I met David tonight in birmingham.  - missed him in Mack but he knows one of my website clients (http://www.alaceves.com) so we had a great conversation.

OK, I sent it off to OaklandPolitics.com.  I didn't see anywhere where I could post it myself so I used the Contact Us link and emailed it to them.
