    Juli, Fred has a great conservative background but his performance in each debate has been horrible. Fred has poorly articulated his positions and arguments. Outside of his aggressive attack against Huckabee in the last debate, Fred has had speech problems (says "um" frequently).

    Unless voters observed Fred's record as Senator or are willing to read where he stands on each issue by reading his website then they will not have developed a complete opinion of Fred.

    Don't worry Fred will have a good showing in South Carolina although I expect Huckabee to win.

    If your endorsement is the kiss of death (I know, I shouldn't mention kissing to an attractive conservative young lady, but...) then please endorse Ron Paul while you're at it.

    If Ron was counting on a huge showing in SC, then does this mean that a 4th place showing will make him go back to Texas?

    I think the Republican Party should just eliminate primaries in 2012 and select its presidential and vice presidential nominees at the convention like it used to fifty years ago.  Primaries are getting too expensive and Iowa and New Hampshire have way too large a role in the nominating process.
