    "Gov. Granholm is selling the idea that the nursing profession will expand in the next 10-20 years. While she might be telling the truth on that it is STILL a service job."

    My local economic development group has been big on the health care growth issue for some time.  While necessary, it's really an admission of economic defeat -- it's saying that the only real growth industry in Michigan is seniors in nursing homes, and minimum-wage CNAs taking care of them.
