A few years ago the Livingston County GOP brought in Andy Card to speak.  He talked about how elections in the future will be decided not by the mass media (I hear they are a bit biased), but by grassroots efforts of neighbors talking to neighbors.  We tend to rely on the opinions of those we know and trust, rather than the mass media.  

With that said, we still have a golden opportunity in Michigan to make McCain and Palin proud by pulling off a huge upset and taking Michigan.

How do we do this?

I plan to spend the next six weeks talking to anyone who will listen about the issues.  I also plan to ask lots of questions of people who support Obama.  Questions like:

Did you know that Obama supports infanticide? letting babies die after they are born?

What experience does Obama have, besides "running" his own campaign?

If small business drives the economy and Obama plans to tax small business, how will that help?

I am sure you all have even better questions to share with readers so we have good talking points to use with our friends and neighbors.   The gloves have got to come off.  We are in a battle for the founding principles of our country:  A Republic form of government, free- market economy, and liberty.   The bullets are real, but we have to fight.   We have to tell the truth with kindness and stick to our story- it is a good one!

Sarah hasn't given up on us, so I plan to work every day to help people understand the truth of where we are as a country; not only by talking to those around me, but by praying- a lot.
