Quick note on site "beautification"By Nick, Section News
A part of me says, "eh, just let it go" but then the other bajillion parts of me say enough is enough.
Right Michigan is a conservative blogging community. The bloggers, commenters, readers, lurkers, trolls... you name it, we've all got different opinions. That's what makes it such a great and vibrant community. And what seperates THIS great and vibrant community from so many other blog sites out there is our Michigan focus. We tackle Michigan issues, have Michigan discussions and look at things from a Michigan perspective. Thus... Right Michigan. That said, the primary is over. Michigan's primary was just shy of a month ago and as of last Tuesday the national race is over. It's done. Do I wish it weren't? Do I like the position we're in? Did my favorite candidate prevail? None of that matters. McCain is the GOP nominee. With that in mind please consider this a nearly blanket moritorium on posts, blogs, comments, trolling, thread jacks, spit and vineager fights and whatever the heck else you might be tempted to do re: any of the also-rans in the Republican field. Obvious exception... if there's a unique and legitimately relevant Michigan connection (the Romney for Governor discussion in the MSM, for example) then go nuts. Otherwise, save the sour grapes and the would haves and could haves. Please. Please! The Dems are still rocking and rolling everywhere but Michigan and should be considered fair game as their campaigns impact (even by omission) the Wolverine State. Oh, and yes. I'm talking to Right Michigan's loyal Ron Paul contingent. Word to your moms.
