... column.  I should add that it's not just custodial parents (i.e., moms) who make life miserable for divorced dads.  Remember Mike Cox's noxious "deadbeat dad" billboards of a few years back?  This dad was always on time or ahead in his support -- yet I made sure to vote against that creep Cox in the last election.  I'd vote for Osama first.

Ad at top of the page (none / 0) (#2)

i haven't clicked on the ad at the top of page (just like i don't read tabloids while standing in the checkout line at the grocery store), but i'm curious about the assertion being made:

are the buyers of that ad against due process? legal representation? i'm puzzled. should people accused of something simply have all rights stripped and go directly to jail or perhaps be ground up for pet food?

if these case, this example, they're speaking of is legit and the accused person was a dues-paying member of the union...he/she has legal rights to representation.

perhaps the buyers of that ad would also like to champion the notion that those accused of a crime shouldn't be afforded a lawyer at the taxpayers expense if they can't afford it? really, it's the same concept.

sorry for the typo in paragraph 3 ("these" instead of "this")...just trying to head off a red herring ;)

i won't click on it. just like i don't read "sasquatch fathered my baby" stories. it's the same type of rhetoric and cheap sensationalism.

The information, it appears due process was observed and this person was convicted. I would have issue if I were paying union dues and over 200k was paid from the fund I paid into to defend a child molester.

Amazing what you can learn when you read.

I think it's pretty ironic that McCotter is heading a task force on pork when he is near the top of the house for pork takers.
