Couldn't have said it better myself, Will!

With the voter registration deadline looming for those who'd like to participate in this year's primary elections we're seeing a spike in MSM coverage of local races.  Of course the conservative blogosphere's already been all over many of these contests for months.  Still, there's an informative nugget here and there.

Take former Republican Oakland County Commissioner Will Molner, for instance.  The Oakland County Democrats already did.  The OP reports:

When former Republican County Commissioner Will Molnar switched parties and moved to Troy from Rochester Hills to challenge cancerstricken Democrat George Suarez, D-Madison Heights, his former GOP colleagues got him a gift.

They passed a card and filled it with Monopoly money to send to Molnar, as a disapproving slap.

Peach of a guy.  Nothing like picking on a cancer patient... now just wait until you hear the man try to defend his move.

Molnar... said he has philosophical differences with the Republicans.

"I've always been pro-choice, even when I was a Republican commissioner," Molnar said. "There's a real division in the Republican Party between the Christian right and the moderates and I was always a moderate.

I may not be an official spokesman but I think I'm safe in thanking Will on behalf of the Christian right everywhere.  You're right, pal, there is a divide.  Some of us genuinely care about our fellow man.  We value things like human life, common decency and liberty.  Others switch parties and carpetbag to campaign against incapacitated cancer patients.  Looks like you always were the latter.

Thanks for clearing things up for us.  Oh, and best of luck with that emergency conscience transplant... I hear it's really tough living without one.

If the babies that he supports killing could talk, I bet they would question his moderation...
