    A video I made

    (Promoted by Nick...)

First post here.  I'm a PUMA turned McCain-Palin supporter.

I made this video here.  I'd appreciate not trashing Gov. Granholm OR Hillary Clinton (my other video if you check my YouTube history).  But Barack Obama is just wrong for this State and wrong for America.

Obama with Granholm and then you can see how Obama supporters -- in DETROIT -- treat a Democratic Governor.

That's not change I can believe in.  No way.  No How.  No Obama-Biden.

Granholm a trashing for partisan politics from this clip where she blames Bush for the MI debacle that's just wrong.

Bush did not endorse her extreme high taxes in this state. After she raised taxes way up, she gave herself and her cronies a raise. Bush isn't at fault (at all) there either. And many other things too long to list now.

She is part of the problem. A very big part because she is the governor. MI is chock full of her policies.

Partisan politics is partly to blame for the failure of the Economic Stabilization Act yesterday.

They want us to trust them with this urgent issue yet they can afford partisan politics.

Congress needs to spend its efforts on making the things it does, have a basis for trust. At it's inception Barney Frank was put in place to lead. Chris Dodd feels comfortable to request the bailout include ACORN. One shouldn't use people like this if they feel it's urgent and they want to be trustworthy. Pelosi has allowed partisan and reelection politics to take over.

She has also given her opinion that the mess started 7 0r 8 years ago. Someone needs to 'LOAN' her a thinking cap.

I look forward to a new bill that reflects the urgency of the issue.

This bill failed for two basic reasons: Bad policy rather then free market and partisan politics. They should kill the Act and start over with change we can believe. You know something is wrong when they try to pawn it off as "more" free market. That means it's less the way they wanted and more but not all free market.

Granholm is just like Pelosi. Passing blame for her policy decisions rather then taking responsibility and exhibiting leadership.

    Keep it real.

Things to consider, Quaker (none / 0) (#6)

Quaker, I understand your frustration with Obama and his supporters.  Like you, I preferred Hillary over Obama.  Like you, I think it was a mistake for Obama not to offer Hillary the VP slot.  And like you, I have been unhappy with the behavior of a number of Obama supporters.

However, these people on the right aren't the alternative you might hope.  Sure, McCain picked Palin but it was more in a cynical and desperate attempt to win over people like us than it was a progressive move on behalf of women.  Conservatives have been far more critical of strong women like Hillary Clinton and Jennifer Granholm than even the most arrogant Obamaniac.

Also, keep in mind that many of the people here don't believe gays and lesbian should be allowed to adopt children, serve openly in the military, marry or even have legally recognized partnerships with the benefits of marriage.  They oppose the mention of sexual orientation in anti-bullying laws and Michigan's Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act.  Even Palin herself, on her recent interview with Katie Couric, called homosexuality a "choice".

There is an alternative to voting for Obama that's better than voting for McCain.  It's not voting at all for President and starting your ballot with Carl Levin.  Or, you can vote for a third party candidate.  I'm not going to tell you its wrong to withhold a vote for Obama if you're not comfortable with him.  There are a number of conservatives who won't be voting for McCain for similar reasons.  But voting for McCain because he put a woman on his ticket doesn't make much sense for folks like you and I.
