Tag: Guantanamo DetaineesBy Kevin Rex Heine, Section News
The City of Standish is having an emergency city council meeting today (4:00 to 6:00 PM) to decide if they will allow relocation of the Guantanamo terrorist detainees to be housed in their city. As best as can be determined, the Obama Administration is directly pressuring the city government to accept this offer. If you know anyone who can make the meeting (I know, short fuse request), then urge them to get there. The point of contact at Standish City Council is Ms. Janice Cuttitta <jcuttitta@cityofstandish.com>. Below is the e-mail that I threw together as soon as I heard what was going on.
